Global Village is a community for both international and domestic students attending Towson University. Students living in this community will have the opportunity to connect with students from different cultures and countries in a variety of ways, including international and domestic roommate pairing, annual events, and programming.
The Global Village Community is located in Residence Tower. Residence Tower is a 14 story residence hall, all student bedrooms are quad style. There are 4 quads per floors each housing 9 students, 4 double rooms and 1 single room. Residence Tower is the only 9-month residence hall. Students assigned to this building are able to stay in their assignments over breaks (Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring).
The LLC is open to all incoming and returning students. Returning students are encouraged to apply for Community Mentor/Role Model positions in mid-February.
This community is a partnership between the International Student & Scholar Office and Housing & Residence Life.
The Global Village LLC does not have a linked course.
This LLC does not have an orientation that requires an early move-in.
